3000+ Followers Gift - 6 New Clothing Items for Your Guys

If you told me I would have 3000+ followers just over a year and a half after joining tumblr, I would not have believed them. Actually, I still don't believe it myself but here I am. I am just so grateful there are so many people out there that enjoy my content enough to follow me. I don't create to be popular or to get followers, its my creative outlet, so it means a great deal that people enjoy what I share as much as I do.
So, in celebration of this milestone (which happened while I was working with no time to finish up the meshes and post), I am sharing these belated gifts. What we have here is 6 of my latest meshes for YA-Adult guys for you to download. They include 4 tops and 2 bottoms.

These creations are:

The downloads are hosted on their separate pages with all the information listed there. Click on the links above to take you to the download. Again, thank you and I hope you enjoy :)

Tucked-In Henley Shirt - New Shirt for Guys

I really like Henley shirts. I have made quite a few for TS3 but they have all been retextures rather then the mesh the texture came from. The Henley was developed from the modified texture of the long-johns that came with Pets. So with this mesh, I decided to take the long-johns and turn them into a heley shirt with the 3D details. I had to make it a tucked in Henley though, due to UV map space restrictions. Even with that compromise, I think this turned out really well and is only of my fave shirts now, especially paired with my union jack or hobo-no-more jeans. These are no designed for lowrise jeans though, so if you want to pair them with that, you will need an accessory undershirt.

This top features:
  • basegame compatibility
  • 4 recolourable channels (shirt, collar, rolled sleeves, and button)
  • 3 preset styles with custom thumbnails
  • found in everyday, athletic and sleepwear categories of CAS
The archive contains the sim3pack and package file along with the preset preview image. Choose your preferred file type and delete the rest. Hope you enjoy :)

Untucked Shirt and Coat - New Top for Men

I really think trench coat, or any coat, are not a common site for guys in TS3. So I wanted to rectify that, even if its only one addition. I also wanted a more casual version, and this is what I came up with. I am really happy with the outcome, it is both formal and casual. I love using it.

This coat features:
  • basegame compatibility
  • 4 recolourable channels (coat, coat lapel, shirt, and shirt buttons)
  • 4 preset styles with custom thumbnails (style 1 has standard pattern tiling, style 2 have 2/3 size pattern tiling, and style 3 has 1/2 size pattern tiling)
  • found in everyday, formalwear and outerwear categories of CAS
The collar on this top is not perfect, it has bone assignment issues and that is due to the base mesh I used. I tried to make it better, but its as good as it is gonna get. Its really only apparent when the neck is moved to the far left or far right.
The archive contains both the sim3pack and package files along with the preview image. Choose your preferred file type, then you can delete the rest.

Tied Shirt and Vest - New Top for you Trendy Guys

I like ties, but I hate how they are really only used with really formal outfits or with short sleeve shirts. Honestly, tell me the last time you actually saw a guy wear a tie with a short sleeve shirt. Don't know? Me neither. I also love vests too, so I grabbed 2 store meshes and 2 game meshes, worked my Frankenstein magic and this is the end result. Not bad at all if I do say so myself.

The top features:
  • basegame compatibility
  • 4 recolourable channels (vest, vest strap, shirt and tie)
  • 3 preset styles with custom thumbnails
  • found in everyday and formal categories of CAS
I did something different with the styles on this one. I messed around with the tiling of the patterns. Style 1 has standard tiling of patterns, style 2 the pattern is about 2/3 the size, and style 3 the pattern appears at half the size as style 1. So if you have a pattern you want to appear smaller, try one of the other 2 styles and see how it looks. Also, a special thanks to jorgha-haq for letting me use Newt as a model :)

Leather Jacket and Hoody - New Top for Your Guys

This was a project that has come of of my hatred of accessory jackets. I really don't like them. They clip, have horrible textures if you don't run a HQ mod and are way too baggy for me. I know many people love them, but I am not one of them. I wanted a leather jacket and hoody and because of my loathing of accessory jackets, I made this; a combo I have never seen before. The jacket is a de-outfit-ied Shotwitme Music Career jacket frankenmeshed with a Diesel hoody with new sleeves added and a bit of a texture tweak. I really love the outcome and will see this being used by all my boys (when not playing TS4).

The top features:
  • basegame compatibility
  • 4 recolourable channels (leather jacket, hoody, hood drawstrings, and hoody zipper)
  • 3 preset styles with custom thumbnails
  • found in everyday, formal, athletic and outerwear categories of CAS
This is not perfect. There is a little bit of clipping around the hands depending on the angle and movement of the hand, as well as the hoody. It is as good as it is gonna get, but you should know anyway.

I Like Short Shorts - New Bottoms for YA-Adult Guys

Today I bring you you and edit of an outfit that came with the sportwear set from the store. I converted and edited the vintage basketball outfit to be a bottom-only part of shorts with a 70's feel. I really like how they turned out, even though they are probably not everyone's style.

The shorts feature:
  • basegame compatibility
  • 3 recolourable channels (shorts, band and shorts details)
  • 3 preset colours with custom thumbnails
  • found in everyday, athletic, swimwear and sleepwear categories of CAS
The archive contains both the sim3pack and package files along with the preset picture. Choose your preferred file type and delete the rest. I hope you enjoy :)

Not So Skinny Chinos - New Bottoms for YA-Adult Guys

I tried. I really, really did. But I just can't bring myself to make skinny fitting pants. This was yet another attempt at trying to make pants that tuck into shoes. They just looked so odd, so I made these instead. So the name changed to reflect it. These were the awesome showtime rolled up pants with the 3D belt, which I added the buckle and new bottoms (because i don't use rolled up pants in my game). I am really happy how they turned out, and its a nice change from all the jeans I have made.

These pants feature:
  • basegame compatibility
  • 3 recolourable channels (pants, belt, and buckle)
  • 5 preset colours with custom thumbnails
  • found in everyday, formal and outerwear categories of CAS

Long Sleeve Turtleneck and Jacket

Today (after a bit of a break due to work) I bring you another new upload. This is yet another s3ccwish from tumblr made by a dear friend, annywaysimblr with a personal twist. What we have here is the UL jacket with the shirt changed out for a turtleneck and sleeves added. We both liked the UL jacket and details so there was no point changing them, then I added the turtleneck which looks really good, great for those cold winter evenings.
This top features:
  • Basegame compatibility
  • 4 recolourable channels (jacket, turtleneck, jacket inner lining, and jacket pocket flaps/shoulder straps)
  • 1 preset style with custom thumbnail
  • found in everyday, formalwear and outerwear categories of CAS
As usual, the archive contains both the sim3pack and package files along with the preview picture. Choose your preferred file type and you can delete the rest.

Fitted Casual Chic - Single Button Jacket

Today I am bringing you a creation that was inspired by a cc wish on tumblr made by andhisrabbits. The wish was to have a fitted jacket with a single button but a little bit more casual with a loose collar. This is the end product. I really like it especially with a thin stripe pattern on the shirt in a white and blue matched up with a grey jacket. We really don't have enough jackets in game, so I am happy to create another to add to what is avilable.

This creation features:
  • basegame compatibility
  • 4 recolourable channels (jacket, lapel part 1 and 2, shirt)
  • 3 presets with custom thumbnails
  • found in Everyday, Formalwear, Career and Outerwear categories and CAS
The archive contains both the sim3pack and package files along with the preview image. Choose your preferred file type, install, then you can delete the rest. I hope you enjoy.

Unhooked Jacket - 2 Styles

I have been sitting on these jackets for a while (not literally that is) because of small little issues that kept bugging me. Finally they are done. This is a frankenmesh of the UL jacket which I wanted opened up and with a nice tee instead of a bare chest. I ended up with the blue version first, but thought to myself that a more sweater look would be cool too. I hate to throw anything away, so I kept both versions and I am happy I did. The jackets are not perfect, mainly the sleeves can look odd with extreme hand movement and there may be a little clipping with some fully bent over poses. Overall, I love them and I hope you do too.

The jackets feature:
  • basegame compatibility
  • 4 recolourable channels for plain versions (jacket, sleeve cuffs/lower jacket, jacket lining, tee) with 3 recolourable areas for the stenciled variations (tees of the stenciled versions are not recolourable due to complexity of the designs and how they act as full overlays)
  • 4 presets for each style with custom thumbnails
  • 3 stenciled versions per style with unique designs (from threadless.com)
  • found in everyday, formalwear, athletic and outerwear categories of CAS

As always, the archives contain both the sim3pack and package files along with the preview image. Choose your preferred file type and delete the rest.

Geek Or Chic? Casual Shorts for Men

Another week, another new upload. I am almost caught up with the backlog of completed projects, and this is one of the last. These shorts originally started out as pajama bottoms but ended up becoming much more. Who doesn't love some fun overlays to add a little personality? I did try to make these as patterns, but that didn't pan out, so I had to make them this way. I still really like them and so do my sims, so I hope your sims enjoy them too.
These shorts feature:
  • basegame compatibility
  • 2 recolourable channels for plain version (shorts and elastic band) and 1 channel for overlay variants (elastic band)
  • 6 presets with custom thumbnails
  • 5 overlay variants (2 marvel, deadpool, comic bubbles and Dr Who)
  • found in everyday, sleepwear, swimwear and athletic categories of CAS
The archive contains both sim3pack and the package file along with the preview picture. Choose your preferred file type and you can delete the rest. I hope you enjoy :)

2500 Followers Gift Part II: Batter Up Baseball Tees

YAY! More clothing! To go with the baseball poses I give you proper Baseball Tees in short, three-quarter and long sleeve variants. These are what inspired the pose pack and work really well together (although baseball players don't wear these styles when playing major league, they are still an awesome design).

I want to give a special shout-out to gothfamilyswag on tumblr who sent in the suggestion for these. Most baseball tees for The Sims 3 are not actually the traditional design and are just a mask edit. They generally have a break in the sleeve around the shoulder and when a pattern is applied it breaks at that point. So i decided to make some proper ones for the guys. These were quite hard to get right as there are not many clothes with this style sleeve (2 to be exact), but I made it happen and decided to make it a followers gift too. These shirts also make use of my fading away baggy top mesh retaining about 60% of the original. I wanted a baggier look and had already done a lot of the work, I just decided to use it as a base.
These tees feature:
  • Basegame compatability
  • 3 sleeve lengths
  • 3 recolourable channels (shirt, sleeve, and collar)
  • 1 preset style with custom thumbnail
  • found in everyday, sleepwear and athletic categories of CAS
The archives contain both the sim3pack and the package files along with the preview image. Choose your preferred file type and you can delete the rest. So thank you t all my followers and I hope you enjoy :)

Working Out Trackie Shorts

It is Wednesday! I didn't actually think I was going to get to publish this creation today and was going to have to push it back to Thursday, but that wasn't the case. Anyway, this is a shorts version of my trackie pants. I really don't like the cuffed shorts version that came with one of the EPs which these are based on, so this is yet another variant of sweatpants/trackies for your men to enjoy. You must be getting sick of them by now ;)
These shorts feature:
  • basegame compatibility
  • 3 recolourable channels ( pants, wait and drawstring)
  • found in everyday, sleepwear and athletic categories of CAS
  • 1 preset style with custom thumbnail
The archive contains both the sim3pack and the package file along with the preview image. Choose the file type you prefer and you can delete the rest. I hope you enjoy :)

Vests are Cool - Casual Vest for Guys

Another week and miraculously another new upload! I am astonished. I haven't really been creating much lately, but I seem to still have a little backlog of clothing to share. This one has to be one of my favourite recent creations and all my boys love it. Most of the vests in-game are either fully buttoned or fully open, I wanted something inbetween, so I made it. I am really happy with how it turned out.
The vest:
  • is basegame compatible
  • has 4 recolourable channels (front of vest, back of vest, shirt, and buttons)
  • is found in everyday, formal and career categories of CAS
  • 1 preset with custom thumbnail
I do want to not that this was designed with regular fit jeans, not low-rise jeans in mind. I particularly like to match it up with my hobo-no-more jeans I uploaded a few weeks ago. Note: if you pair it with low rise jeans, consider using an accessory undershirts such as the ones created by Mochi029.

Shawl Collar Jackets - Three Styles

This week is a big week. I actually never thought it would come and that these jackets would forever be a WIP. But the day has finally come to release them into the wild (sims community) to frolic about and find some wonderful new homes. They have been a restless and troublesome bunch, with mesh gaps, unruley morphs, and normalmap issues, but I have straightened them out into almost well behaved meshes. I hope you enjoy them as much as me now I can actually use them, rather then dreading having to fix another tiny issue every time I put them in my game.
The jackets feature:
  • Basegame compatibility
  • 4 recolourable channels for the shirt and tie, and the casual vest versions (jacket, lapel, shirt and tie/vest)
  • 3 recolourable channels for the open shirt variant (jacket, lapel, and shirt)
  • Found in everyday, formalwear, career and outerwear categories of CAS
  • 1 preset style per variant with custom thumbnails
The only issue I have encountered is with the long coat tail. Sometimes certain pants with big butts clip through them, but its at a very tight angle, like sitting down. So it should generally be hidden.
The archives, as usual, contain both the sim3pack and package files along with the preview pictures. Just choose the file type you prefer and delete the rest. There is no archive which contains all 3 variants, they will need to be downloaded individually. Thank you, and enjoy :)
