Kingston Dining - 20 New Dining Room Items

I love a good dining room and its not something I make a lot of. I know I just made the outdoor set, but that is different. This project started out by seeing the Oval table in a furniture store and I just had to make it for my game. The set just grew from there. It definitely turned out to be modern, but i think it has a hint of MCM in there too, a great balance in my opinion.

Rustic Planks - Rough-cut Timber Flooring in Two Sizes

I really loved the flooring from Jungle adventure, but again like most things, i found the colour selection lacking. So like past flooring, i have tweaked and recoloured in a range of colours to suit more situations. I have also done the flooring in two sizes: the original larger scale, and a 50% size. I think I am going to get a lot of use out of these for more rustic builds.

Small & Rustic Wooden Planks - Scaled Jungle Adventure Flooring

I really love the flooring from Jungle Adventure (a little secret, i love any good wood flooring) but I also don't think the scale will work all the time. So I experimented with a smaller version by changing some parameters within the material definitions and came up with this half-sized version. I am happy to have the option for it and decided to share. I am also recolouring the flooring which will be released in the future, but in the mean time this is a great addition to the original.

Brindleton Bay Grassland Overhaul - Default Replacement Grass

I really liked the texture chosen for the grass in Brindleton Bay. There was one issue though; it was overscaled and the green tone looked horrible. I generally don't replace the grass textures in my game but I decided to make an exception here. I scaled the texture by half and brightened the green a bit to look a little more lush. The downside is the pattern repetition is a bit more obvious, but I am ok with that payoff. I was reminded I actually made this on tumblr, so i have double-checked everything is right and it is here for those that are interested.

Alum Archaeology Site - A Jungle Adventure Location

Lets be honest, the museum in Selvadorada was horrible, Such a huge lot, such lost potential. So I went about making it more interesting. I went for an ancient ruins look that doubles as a destination for your sims to experience real archaeology before heading out to find their own treasures. I kinda find this lot a bit pointless in the scheme of things, but it is at least pretty and pointless now.
