Updated: Mina Kitchen - Contemporary Shaker-Style Kitchen for TS4

Kitchens are a pain to make. Although it appears as one object in the catalogue, it is multiple meshes combined that are needed to give you a functional kitchen. You then have to be meticulous in assuring they are all the right size and seamlessly join together, both the placement and the texture. I said after my last two custom kitchens it would be a while before I made another, and today is that day, over two years later, that i bring you my latest creation. I like to think I have learnt a lot in the time that has passed which made this process go a little faster then a snail's pace, but in honesty, it probably took about the same time. Regardless, I love this new kitchen. It is a more contemporary shaker style that works in both classic and modern designs. I am going to get a lot of use out of it, and maybe it will form the base for another kitchen in the near future like Shaker Kitchen formed the base of Lennox Kitchen. Depends on how I feel.

Kitchen Updates

I am currently making a new kitchen and came across an issue with my previous versions. There seems to be an issue where a sink or dishwasher placed underneath a cabinet was unusable by sims. I have rectified the issue on the sets that experienced the problem. Please redownload the merged files, or grab the cabinet package files if you use the separated versions.

Yanako Modern Seating - Set of Four Comfort Objects

I have a thing for sofas as you are probably aware (if not you must be new here) and I like twists on the designs too. This style I thought was unique and simple that I needed it in my game. The wingback specifically was something I saw at a local shopping centre as 'rest' seating. It was incredibly comfy and unique too, so that had to be made so I could have it in my houses. Overall this has come out as a relatively modern set with a minimalist vibe, something I think is not always catered to with cc. Now I have some furniture perfect for that design style.

Comfy and Practical - Slim Cuffed and Yoga Sweatpants

Another week and two more clothing updates. I think i am almost done! As you can tell I love having a large variety of sweatpants styles in my game for all occasions. These were some of my most-used but with the need to remake them, I made a few improvements. Like all my other styles I have tweaked the textures, fixed bones and added more colour options. Do be aware these suffer from the sunken crotch, but since I will never use them on females and don't make clothing for the feminine frame, there is no point pulling my hair out to rectify it when I will never personal use them.

Summer Fun - Loose Cut, and Loose Bands Tank Tops

Another day, another fix/remake. This time my fave tank top. The goal was to update the original file, however that wasn't possible because of some changes, so I decided just to remake it. I overhauled the texture, fixed the NM and added more colours. I also decided to remake my Dip Dyed Tank on this mesh and love how it turned out. So now there is a plain and patterned version available.

Kalagan Contemporary Seating - MCM-Inspired Sofa, Loveseat, and Armchair

I have a sofa addiction; I just love how you can have something that essentially serves the same purpose in so many different styles and designs. Inspiration strikes from anywhere (well mainly pinterest). This time I was reading the local Sunday paper because I like looking at new house plans as i get a lot of ideas from them. One by a local builder had a new display home which used a really interesting sofa I had to make for my game, and here it is. I really love the wrap-around shell-like design and its very MCM-inspired to me. One of my favourite styles so i was sold. Now I have another great MCM-style sofa to use in my builds.

Romantic Garden Expanded - 16 New Doors and Windows

I love the Romantic Garden Sp especially the window, but there was only ever one of them. That really limited its use so I had to go about fixing that. This set took a while to complete; as much as I love the window, it wasn't exactly easy to manipulate. However this addon is done and I now have a very usable set of objects that are great for grand entries, sun-rooms and greenhouses among other things. No longer is one of the best windows to come out of an SP limited by its uniqueness.

Welcome To Selvadorada - Vacation World Makeover

I love this tropical world. It's closer to the sort of vacation I would go on rather then to a mountainous retreat with lots of pine trees (they really aren't a thing here in Australia, just flammable Eucalyptus). I have already made over the larger community lot which was in desperate need of attention, and now I have completed the remaining lots (minus the park at the bottom left). This style, a mixture of Mission and vibrant Spanish influences was so far out of my comfort zone I was afraid even GPS wouldn't guide me back. However I managed to get more comfortable with the style and kept on building and the end result is what you see here, something I am incredibly proud of. Hopefully you all enjoy it as me as me.

Houlton Colonial - Farmhouse for the Family

This home was something i just felt like building. I always make sure i have free lots in my tester save and went about building this home from a reference picture. i really love how it turned out even though all the holiday decorations bug me. Moroccan Tiles - Walls and Flooring to Spice up Your Homes

I love Moroccan cement tiles and wanted some for my game. They offer a classic look but suits more modern applications giving a room a welcoming feel. After playing with this pattern for what seems like forever, I am at a stage where i don't hate it, and comfortable enough to release it. I have also tried out something experimental with the smaller pattern versions to maintain quality which i hope doesn't impact performance too much on you that have lower spec machines.
