Low ManBun

I don't readily create hair, but when I do, it is always because something is lacking and I can't wait for someone else to come up with the idea. When it comes to man buns (some of you are probably like, not man buns, i hate them! This post is probably not for you, so I ask why are you still reading?) a lot of the designs are either top knot or high man bun styles. I personally prefer a low manbun and there is only one decent version made by EA. However, I hate the parted look so I took that mesh, mash it with a female ponytail braid hair and voilĂ ! Low manbun to my liking. I am sharing this because there was interest and I removed all obvious bugs it had from frankenmeshing. I didn't do my additional colours for this, as they no longer get much use in my game, so just the standard EA colours are included.

Loose and Cut Tank Top

You really don't see a lot of tank tops around. Probably because after a while they all tend to look the same, It is however a great peice of casual clothing for guys whether then are at home, or out at the park. I tried to make this tank a bit different with a split seam and a longer length and I am very happy with the outcome. Considering this started out as an attempt at a sleeveless button-up shirt, it turned out well.
Note: this top is a longer then a standard t-shirt or tank, going down past the waist to the groin. Because of this, I have reassigned the weight paint and adjusted the UV maps so it should not clip that much with EA bottoms. It will however clip a little (or perhaps more), depending on what it is put with. That is the downside to longer tops. So be mindful it may clip depending on what you put it with, especially CC bottoms.

The clothing item features:
  • basegame compatibility
  • Non-default
  • 20 colour options
  • available for teen to elder men
  • found by default under the tank top filter
  • Disabled for random
  • Custom thumbnails
  • can be found by default in everyday, athletic, swimwear, and sleepwear (but can be used in other categories by removing the filter in CAS)
The archive contains the package file and style image inside a folder. Extract the archive using winRAR or winZIP and drop the package file in your mods folder and look for it in-game.

Casual Cool - V-neck Sweater

It has been a while since I made a proper 'new' item for CAS since I have been concentrating on objects. However, I was a clothing creator first, and there are still so few who make content for guys (much more then TS3 though). This is an old WIP I put on the back-burner for a few months and decided to finish it off recently. I think it offers something a little different from other sweaters in-game. I don't think I will ever understand why the v-neck is not as popular. Oh well, more things to make.
Big thanks to untraditionalnerd for helping with the hiding of necklaces with this top :)

Kimi-Kimono Jacket

After the big weekend last week, I am keeping things small while I replenish my creative juices. When I got the Movie Hangout SP, I really liked the items that came with it for the guys. What i wanted though was some different patterns for the kimono jacket. So what I did was find some appropriate patterns to liven it up, and add some more solids too. I also recategorised it as a jacket. I have no idea why it was listed under t-shirts. Anyway, hope you enjoy the simple recolour.

Round Jute Rugs 02

We need more round rugs, and especially more made of natural material. So I bring you my second set of jute round rugs, in varying natural colours. These are basically a collection of random ones i found from all over, and surprisingly work well in a set. So i hope you get a use out of them as much as me. There are 2 files in the folder; a 2x2, and a 3x3 for more variety too.

UPDATED - Round Elm Jute Rugs

Update 14/01/2016: I have added a 3x3 variant of this rug that you can download. After it was pointed out that is an optimal size, i decided to whip one up with the existing textures using the other round rug as a base. You can now have 2x2, 3x3, and 4x4 (using enlarged 2x2) rugs for your game. Enjoy.
I love rugs (and you can probably tell) but it has been a while since I made some. I also love natural textures, so I automatically love jute rugs. When I spotted these on West Elm, I had to have them for my game. Now you can too. The original size of the rug is 2x2, but I increased texture size so you can use the enlargement cheat (bb.moveobjects then shift + [ ) to make it a 4x4 rug, great for larger spaces.

The Mason Tudor

Time to make over Windenburg! My second lot I made for my save is this smaller Tudor that sits right next to The Burrow. It has just as much charm as its bigger brother, but its own little twist since this lot overlooks the water. Again, this home is unfurnished. When placed, the game doesn't recognise the correct height of the awning in the cover pic, so you will just need to move that up once placed.

The Burrow - A Tudor House for Windenburg

It has been some time since I shared a house with you all. To be honest, I find it hard to complete them fully, with nice interiors and exteriors, so it is why you haven't shared a completed house in a while. So I have made the decision to upload house shells, simply because that is more doable and there wont be much cc, if any. I will still upload fully finished house, but that is when that actually happens once in a blue moon. So enjoy this lovely house as you explore the wonders of Windenburg.

Shaggy Waves - GT Female to Male Hair Conversion

It has been a while since I shared a hair with all of you. I guess I have had no need to make a lot of them given that there are more people working on content for guys these days (great news all around). However, when I got GT, I was not enamoured with any of the hairs on my favourite sim. I took a look at the female hairs and spotted this beauty that was ripe for conversion. So the first thing I did with the EP was not play it, but convert this hair XD It comes in all EA colours, and you have the option of downloading it with my natural shades. I have canned the unnaturals because they seem to be hit or miss depending on the hair texture. There is a little clipping which comes from these sorts of conversions, so be aware of that. Hair clips not matter what, so it is a tricky thing to fix. It is a little more noticeable on sims that have very narrow necks  and are really skinny with no muscle mass. I left it as-is because it really doesn't detract from this awesome hair for me.
