Broken Buildmode Content

 I am aware that patch 1.66.139.1020 has caused all buildmode items (windows, doors, arches) to become broken and no longer work as intended. I am currently waiting on the S4S team to finish their batch fix as it is not feasible to fix 400+ items individually.

When I update I will be sure to let everyone know.

    As though I didn't already appreciate your work enough before, this patch has shown me just how heavily I rely on your work--- I have used your windows almost exclusively for my builds in the past year, so almost all of my homes are without windows at the moment! Whatever you end up doing, it will be worth the wait :)

      It depends on whether we get a batch fix. A week or so with a batch fix (taking in account uploading new files) or probably a month or more if i have to do it manually.

    Just wondering if you have any updated info on when your broken CC will be fixed either by you or by S4S? No hurry at all! Just wondering if you have any inside information?
    On a side note I am really missing your doors and windows! :)

      S4S released an updated S4S and an update on the batch fix. They are still currently working on it and are making progress, but it's not done yet.

    i am wondering if your willow creek and windenberg homes and community lots can be still used until the new patch mess is fixed? i made a new game but love the homes i had before so just wondering what to do with them in the tray

    I am thankful for the update because my computer was broken and I came back to all my arches not working and my doors not working. I never realized how much I use all of your CC in my builds. Appreciate all of your amazing work!

      Windenburg should be fine as it doesn't use any custom windows. Willow Creek homes do so you will have issues.

    I finally got the new pack and just checking all the cc and mods, I'm bummed your windows and doors will still have issues but it's been since Eco that I've opened the game so I should have things to keep me busy until you ( S4S ) gets things sorted.. No rush, get it done right the first time ya know <3 but thanks for all that you do and for updating us!

    Hello there I hate to be a pest but I love all yours doors and windows and I dont know what happened they arent working right all the doors and windows but idk if it was some kind of update I've been keep going across something about update had do deal with the doors and windows but is there a possible way u can fix the doors and windows ? I would be honor to download them all again if I have to and delete the old batch I download thanks ps. keep up the great wonderful work

    I have to say a huge thankyou, without your mods my sims playing wouldn't exist. I use them in every build I make in the sims. Once again thankyou for all that you do to make sims 4 so much better to play.

      the S4S team are getting closer, they just want to make sure it's done right the first time so it wont need to be batch fixed again. Hopefully soon though.

    I am so thankfull for all ur hard work that u put into it - and will wait patiently for it ! I cant play the game without ur content - even if i tried really hard to use basegame doors and windows - its not the same .

    I can't use a lot of my content since I use a lot of your CC, but I have been trying LOL. I have been checking periodically to see if they have updated with a batch fix, but unfortunately, like you said. Better to have it done right the first time :) Thank you for all your hard work :)

      Yes, i am aware, but I have been told it's only adequate. I am also not sure how it will handle items made with S4S instead of TSRW. So I still rather wait for the S4S one to be completed before I update.

    @Peacemaker --- I have lost the will to play The Sims 4 without your windows and doors, just not the same. :( I have gone ahead and reverted to just building for a while. And playing Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order again. LOL

      Me too! I haven't play any Sims 4 since the last update. It's just too heart wrenching to play Sims 4 without PC's windows

      This isn't on EA to fix though. It is a new feature to windows (which have worked essentially the same since TS2)so it was much needed. It's just short term headache for long term gain to me. I love the new feature, so I look forward to designing windows that utilise it more.

    I finally started playing the sims 4 again after a rough year and know come to find out that your windows and doors are not working at the moment. I'm so bummed. I have almost all of my towns completely filled with your housing designs lol. So almost all of my homes have no windows or doors now =P I hope they will fix it soon so that we can enjoy your beautiful CC, cause the sims 4 just isn't the same without it.. =)

    Thank you so much for keeping us informed. Yes your windows & doors CC is very much missed at the minute, but i would much rather wait until you know that they can be fixed properly, than have a 'quick fix' and you not be happy with the result as i know you are very proud of your work (and so you damn well should be)! Thank you for all your hard work :)
