Nifty Knitting Buymode Expanded - 20 new or edited Items

 

Courtesy of EA Game Changers, I managed to get early access to the Community-voted Nifty Knitting Stuff Pack. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances I didn't manage to get a review up about what I thought or the potential for addons in the future, so I decided to go ahead and skip a few other packs to get this out of the way (I will be revisiting other more complex packs later). I really loved the premise that a lot of the items are crafted by the sims, but because of that the catalogue felt rather emptier then it actually is. So i decided to do a modest buymode addon to add a few things I felt would add more usability, and fix a few things that bugged me. 
What I ended up with was 20 new or edited items. Some decor made from the crafted items (minus the knitted aspects), furniture, and I decided to de-chunkify the rocking chairs to reflect my tastes. All non-default so you can mix and match with the rest of the items. I am also looking into a buildmode addon too, but we shall see how that goes. 
What you need to know:
  • Requires Nifty Knitting Stuff Pack
  • decor items made from crafted items don't need to be crafted, they are just regular decor items now
  • the rocking chairs are non-default. I am not supplying a default replacement as i may find a use for the originals. I don't like limiting my choices
The Build item/s feature:
  • REQUIRES NIFTY KNITTING STUFF PACK
  • non-default
  • All original colour/style options
  • colour filter compatible
  • Find using the keyword "NiftyKnitting" using my tutorial here
  • custom thumbnails
*Note: these items are considered "high poly" and should be used in moderation, or removed from your game if it can't handle them

Download from either of the below links. To install, if an archive, extract using WINZip/WinRAR/7Zip for PC or Unarchiver for Mac, and place the folder or package files in your mods folder, then look for them in your game. If you are having issues check out my Installing Content help page.

    Hi Peace, love the set! I wanted to let you know the most recent update (September 3) broke everyone's CC doors and windows since all the Maxis doors and windows can be stacked now (like EVERYONE, not just yours). Since you have a lot of build addons and sets I was just wondering if you'll be fixing them for the new update? (I use your stuff a ton so I'd have a lot of stuff to replace haha) Thanks for making such amazing stuff!!

    Ahh I'm so happy! I'm acrafter myself and therefore love Nifty knitting and your objects are so cool and I had to check which ones were new and which ones altered because your creations are PERFECT! I came here looking for the button chair of nifty knitting, it was one of my Fave Objects (#109 in the Voting List) and I'm still quite sad that I don't have this chair. But at least I have more absolutely amazing items in this style thank you! Are One-Time donations possible? Because I don't have so much money to be a patreon to spend a monthly tier

      Hi! I answered for first question on facebook. As for donations, one time is really for paypal. Being in australia I have limited access to a lot of payment apps, so thats the best option for those sorts of donations.
