This set is a bit different from my previous ones. It was designed to take a bit of the tedium out of creating "object sets" with multiple matching items and designed to go together. This set is something that can be mixed and matched with other sets, hence the name "eclectic". The randomness of the items, but how they all come together is what I aimed for, and I think I succeeded. It is also a smaller size (both file and item count) which was nice after completing Atwood living. That set was HUGE! I have also included some retro inspired wallpapers to accompany this set. We really do need more wallpapers, so go fourth and decorate with these new pretties.
Things you should know:
Updates:
- This latest update doesn't replace the items, they are just updated to the latest patch except the pendant lamps which are new package files
- You need the shortest pendant ingame for the textures for the other heights
- to place the risom tables close together, turn on MOO
- Some of the old orchid swatches have been deleted, and no longer change pot colour, just the flower colour. The mesh has also been updated
- some swatches have been removed due to updating the textures
Updates:
- 13/12/2017: updated for the 12/12/17 patch that broke some surfaces
- 4/12/2017: Updated for the Cats+Dogs. Also remade pendant lamps so those will need to be re-placed in your games. Items also updated with my current palettes and fabrics
- 21/01/2017: With the toddler patch breaking a few things, I have taken the opportunity and gone through and updated my sets to fix issues and generally improve on some things.
- Update 17/07/2016: I have updated this set to work with the latest July patch where changes were made to the lighting tuning.
- 8/7/2019: Added GF interactions to mirror

ReplyDeleteThese look great - I love the attention to detail in your decor.
ReplyDeleteThought you should know, when I tried to download these Chrome blocked the files saying they contained malware.
ReplyDeleteYes, unfortunately i know about it. I have no idea what causes it though, so i can only suggest to people to use a different download link if they are concerned
DeleteYou do such awesome things :)
ReplyDeleteI really appreciate all the work that you put into this. This set has so many items I KNOW i will use and the wallpapers are a huge bonus. Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteI'm terrible about downloading and never commenting. I just want to say thank you for providing such stellar CC for TS4! Everything you create is amazing and of such high quality! I use your rug collection in EVERY home... I simply can't get enough! Thank you for all you do!
ReplyDeletelove your stuff, all of it. I quarantine all the items I download for the Sims so they're easier to find if something doesn't look or work right in game but with your creations I know they'll look great so I don't even bother quarantining them. so for your impeccable work, I thank you.
ReplyDeleteUsing the individual downloads, I can't seem to find the one for the wallpaper? I see everything else (and downloaded a few) but I really want the wallpaper!
ReplyDeleteonly the meshes are in the individual download section. If you want the wallpapers, click one of the links under "download wallpapers". Its the third set of links at the bottom of the post, right above the Individual Items download.
DeleteThank you for taking the time to update these files. :)
ReplyDeletehey, just letting you know, some of the orchid's swatches aren't working..
ReplyDeleteI don't know if it's just me, but I was wondering if you could check? Love all your other stuff!!!
Could you give me more info? What do you mean by "not working".
Deletethe black swatch's pot isn't black and a few swatches are showing the same thing
DeleteDid you remove the old package file? I redid the textures and removed some of the swatches. All pots are white now with different flower colours. If you prefer having coloured pots over coloured flowers, removed the newest version.
DeleteFirst off.. I love your stuff. You are very talented and this is now my go to site for anything CC! Now to my question...Maybe I am blind Haha! But I do not see the wallpapers in the download at all. They didn't show up in my game for the merged file, Nor are they in the separated files.. i looked very carefully!? like I said, perhaps I am blind. Haha! Could you please point me in the right direction? Thank you!
ReplyDeleteLOL never mind my previous query.. I completely missed the separate wallpaper download link above! LIke I said "BLIND" Haha. Maybe I should put on my glasses! :-) Thank you for your hard work!
ReplyDeletethe Wallpapers dont work :(
ReplyDeletethey work perfectly fine in my game. You are going to need to be a bit more descriptive as to how they aren't working and the process in which you downloaded then placed the files ingame for me to help.
DeleteI'm just dumb 😅 I did not download the file with the wallpaper 🤦♂️ it's perfect thanks 💕
DeleteIt 2021 and i tried to download both the file share link and google, neither one worked for putting the wallpapers in my game.....please help. Love your designs and MCM
ReplyDeleteYou have probably not extracted the archives, they are in RAR format which many people miss. You will have to do that before they will show up ingame.
DeleteHi! I extract the rar file in my mods folder and still no wallpapers. What am I doing wrong?
ReplyDeleteDouble check the file extension is .package to confirm extraction. Then look for them in the wallpaper section (search bar does not work for wallpapers and flooring). If you are still having issues, move the package file to the main mods directory folder to confirm it has not been put too deep into folders that the game can't find it.
Deletedoes this still work?
ReplyDeleteYes, why wouldn't it?
