Another week, another sectional. Like most of you have probably figured out, I m addicted to sofas. If not, welcome to my favourite object I love making for my game. With the introduction of sectionals, it just opened up a whole different can of worms so I now have even more options for making seating (not that I needed an excuse before). Anyway, I want a few different choices for sectionals so that i have styles for different occasions. Phumo is very modern/MCM, and Alesund is very contemporary/classic allowing it to fit into more styles. I do want to get around to a classic style too at some point, and I am working on a modern/minimalist version right now. Lots of sofas in the future. In the meantime, enjoy this one.
What you need to know:
- Based on feedback from Phumo sectional, this will require Dream Home Decorator GP.

Download from either of the below links. To install, if an archive, extract using WINZip/WinRAR/7Zip for PC or Unarchiver for Mac, and place the folder or package files in your mods folder, then look for them in your game. If you are having issues check out my Installing Content help page.

ReplyDeletenot without completely remaking it, which is not something I will do. I highly recommend the pack, so if you ever see it on sale and you have the means to pick it up, it's one of the best game packs for builders/decorators in my opinion.

ReplyDeleteBut having some trouble... did download, and have it in game, but noticed that its a bit shiny vs the matte look you have in your screenshots. Like as if there is no texture. Is that just me? Any reason that would be happening?
Also, posted this a few sec ago so sorry if this is a repost.
I have only noticed overly shiny texture if used outside and not sure why there is such a change. What graphics settings are you using?

ReplyDeleteYou will need to click the download link and download the archive. You will need to have a program installed that can extract it, then it goes to your mods folder. If you are unfamiliar with using custom content, i advise you read up on Installing Content section of my blog.

ReplyDeleteNot sure why you are having the issue. The only people that experience this are those who do not own the DHD pack where the item shows up, but is not usable.

ReplyDeleteThis will not auto-generate. You should turn off auto-placement, or on the swatch popup, click the cog icon to view all pieces to manually place.
DeleteMy sims seem unable to sit on it if I use the curved corner.
ReplyDeletei just tested and can't say i am having any issues. Might be worth checking if anything is blocking the corner from being used
