Quintin Kitchen - Stylish Modern Design

Well I was in a kitchen mood. This came about quite quickly after I finished Essa because there was a few things I wanted to experiment with, like more Maxis shading/highlighting, a new wood texture and playing around with the fridge nooks to see if i could get cats to not use the fridge while placed (still not sure on the last one, bit tricky to test). My favourite part is definitely the pantry design on this kitchen with the 3 panels. The caged pendant is also a favourite amongst the many designs I have already made. You really cannot have too many kitchens and this is yet another that will go into my rotation.
What you need to know:
  • Like all my kitchens, you really need my No Occluder Default Replacement for small and large appliances to avoid any dark shadowing on the cabinetry.
  • You need the white marble version in-game for the black marble version to work because of linked textures.
  • The end pieces of the wall cabinets are half tile size and can be mixed and matched.
The Build/Buy items feature:
  • basegame compatibility
  • non-default
  • 12 meshes in total with between 15 and 34 colour/style options:
  • find items easily using phrase "Quintin" in search bar (try this tutorial to easily find my sets)
  • style (found under "Cosmolux" tag) and colour filter compatible
  • custom thumbnails
  • Pricing  and polycount as follows:
    • Counters ($345, 454-732 polys)
    • Islands ($345, 204-830 polys)
    • Cabinets ($175, 199-654 polys)
    • Fridge Surrounds ($255, 632 polys)
    • Backless Barstool ($125, 882 polys)
    • Supported Barstool ($225, 1150 polys)
    • Caged Pendant ($96-98, 1100 polys)

    1. I don't use bars because they are too ungainly so I don't make them. I know some would get use out of them but it really isn't enough to make me want to make them. Sorry

  6. Are the small containers and mortar and pestle below the counter one of your creations or from a pack or another CC maker?

  10. I've driven myself insane trying to locate the island counters with the shelves. What am I doing wrong?!

    1. You need to turn on manual selection to see the individual pieces of my kitchen sets. The shelving, both curved and square, are the inner curved and normal corners of the island, while the smaller set with drawers is the outer corner of the counter. I laid out the picture like the in-game selection screens.

    1. It could be a number of reasons, but most commonly is people don't extract the archive files I provide. The game can't read them and you will need a program to extract them. Without further information i am of little help pinpointing the issue
