Harlow Chaise Lounges - Contemporary Seating Set

With the release of Island Living, we (finally) got loungers with made me so happy. This also gave me the opportunity to make a chaise sofa, my prefer seating style IRL. With a little tweaking of rigging heights and some acceptable compromises, I have come up with all new possibilities to satisfy my sofa addiction XD

What you need to know:
  • Left and right versions of chaise lounge, loveseat and sofa are merged into individual packages because textures are linked
  • The chaise lounge is separate because I am not combining tuning. Gives more versatility anyway
  • I included standard versions of these seating style because i have a problem (and I am OK with it)
  • These aren't perfect and sims can sit on the edge of the chaise and sofa and may overlap a little. Sims can't really hold a conversation with people resting on the chaise either but these are coding issues and small compromises but something I am willing to accept for this design.
Updates:

  • 17/9/2019 - Updated dark teal swatch to correct texture of chaise lounged

The Build/Buy items feature:
  • basegame compatibility
  • non-default
  • 9 meshes in total with 32 fabric options:
  • find items easily using phrase "Harlow" in search bar (try this tutorial to easily find my sets)
  • style (found under "contemporary" tag) and colour filter compatible
  • custom thumbnails
  • Pricing  and polycount as follows:
    • Chaise lounge ($550, 1375 polys)
    • Chaise sofa ($775, 2163 polys)

    • Sofa ($800, 2174 polys)

  12. Je trouve ton travail très beau ! Par contre je n'arrive pas à créer le canapé d'angle car je ne peux pas coller les deux éléments qui le constituent. Une astuce ?

    1. This set wasn't designed as a sectional so there is no corner peice available.

Cet ensemble n'a pas été conçu en coupe, il n'y a donc pas de pièce d'angle disponible.

  14. Hi, I canot put the sofa and the chase together, it left a space between them. How do I have to do?

    1. Sounds like you have never used 1/4 tile placement. Press F5 while in build/buy mode to turn on.

    2. Having the same issue, turned on F5 as suggested and even used the 'Alt' hotkey to freeplace, but was still getting a significant gap between the two pieces. The only way I was able to place them together is the moveobjects cheat.

    3. Moveobjects is advised, the game footprints are very finicky

    1. No, I used the basegame loungers as a base for the chaises. I stated these are basegame in the info section above.

    1. A mixture of the Kingston Dining large canvas, and I believe the black and gold one is from Caine Living.

  17. Hey I appreciate this is super old but no matter what lighting I use I can't get the chaise and loveseat colours to match! The chaise is always lighter on every swatch

    1. I purposely didn't choose the counter shader (one of the only ones that has seamless lighting) because it messes with the colours of the items, and also darkens the shadows drastically. With this set I just adjust room lighting to help.
