Jacob’s House: A FLW Usonian

Frank Lloyd Wright was a very influential architect where he became known for the prairie and usonian architecture styles. Usonian designs were differentiated by their flat roofs, stone/brick and wood facades with open living spaces with plenty of windows blurring the line between inside and out. Jacob’s House, which was the first in a series of Usonian styled houses, was built for Herbert Jacob, a newspaperman. This Simple house had an L shaped design and although it was straightforward to construct, it had a simple elegance, making this style famous and imitated by architects the world over.

Cherrywood House: A Little Bit of the Old, A Little Bit of The New

Hello all.


Today i bring you another house, smaller in scale but hopefully still well executed. Cherrywood House is inspired by Penfield House designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. 

Note: I forgot to put in the exact address of this build in bridgeport for the dl'ers. it is a 44x34 lot (silly i know) and if placed in bridgeport should go at 64 Applewood Lane in the Celebrity Neighbourhood up near the retreat community lot. you can place it on a larger lot too

Falling Water: a dedication to the masterpiece

Today i bring you a build very close to my heart, the basis of the house built by Frank Lloyd Wright and was very much ahead of its time. That House is the Falling Water House, and i bring you my version of this beautiful build.

This lot was built following the floor plan but due to some elements not being able to translate into the game (such as the bridge) i took an artistic approach and added my own elements to the design. CAP patterns were used to give it a natural look along with forest vegetation to hide the house away from prying eyes. I designed it specifically for 302 Silverstone way, a 60x60 lot in Bridgeport due to its sloping nature which helped to create the design. It is indeed one of my greatest builds and i hope it does justice to the original.

The house itself has a second floor entry through security gates which blend well into the Fir forest and the natural elegance of the waterfall at the base of the house.

The Modern Escape: A Contemporary Egyptian Home

This new home started off as a a classic Egyptian style build but due to real life it was put on the back burner. after some time left in a WIP 'hood i decided to give it a total overhaul and the new items with the new Late Night EP gave me the final push to finish this home.

The Galveston: A Contemporary Home

Here is my latest build to share with the community. I have quite a few WIPs at the moment but i have had this one for a while now and thought i would spruce it up and see if people are interested in it.

This home is modelled after the apartment used by Luis Lopez in GTAIV TBoGT. It is an open plan space perfect for a contemporary house and i decided to take that idea and create a house from it. The Galveston is the end result.

hi everyone. Its been a while since i have uploaded a lot due to my studies and real life and i do have a few WIP's. I am currently waiting for LN EP to come out to add the finishing touches to some and others are large projects that require a lot of time to finish. i should have a new upload this weekend to share though so be sure to stop by :)

From The Archive: Peacy's Pad

I have a few builds in progress at the moment but until i have playtested and finished snapping the pics they are far off being uploaded to share. In the mean time i thought i would share a build very close to my heart. This house was built for The Simmers Society Town Of TSS where the members of this site, where i am a moderator, add a house and avatar for the members to dl and play. this was my contribution to the project.

This lot does contain cc patterns and items from the sims 3 store. this house was specifically designed with my personal tastes in mind and i didn't hold back using the store content. this is my dream house, what i would live in given the chance and it gave me such joy building and sharing it with the TSS and sims community.

Is There CC?

All patterns are either from the base game or updates. i have recently decided to go thrid party cc free for houses as there can be too many issues relating to them from the constant updates and corruption that seems to occur.

 The game version i am running is 5.0.44.008001

it is not needed and will be replaced with the base game door if you don't have the store item in game. the base game door looks just as nice and for some people, they may think its better.
