Casual Shirt and Jacket (2 styles)

Since I decided to jump in the deep end again, I took on another frankenmesh project, my second since the coat and tee a few months back. This one is a mashup of a 70/80/90's open shirt and a jacket from UL. What we now have is a casual shirt and jacket with one version with a t-shirt, and another without . I really like the end result so I hope you all do too.

A small note: due to the jacket having to be shrunken on the UV map to accommodate the shirt, the jacket has 2 recolourable channels: the arms and the torso. This was done so I could change the pattern repeat so there wasn't a pattern size difference between the arms and torso parts of the jacket. I find the jacket looks best in solid or large print patterns as smaller patterns tend to be blurry. It is just the sacrifice I had to make to have this outfit in my game. I just wanted to let you all know. Feel free to experiment.

There are 4 recolourable channels for the version with the t-shirt; 2 for the coat (so the pattern tiling could be corrected), the shirt and the tee and 3 for the version without the tee. The t-shirt version is found in everyday, sleepwear, athletic, and outerwear, while the version without the tee is found in those categories minus outwear (I sure as hell don't like a bare chest in winter and I doubt my sims do either). Each outfit has a different download since they are on separate meshes so you can choose which version you like best, or have both in your game. Each top comes with 3 preset styles and custom thumbnails. The archive contains both the sim3pack and the package files so delete the one you are not using. I have also included the preview pictures in each folder. I hope you enjoy :)

Modern Panelling Wall Set

Today I bring you a new panelling set for exterior and interior use. I always loved the panelling that came with LN, but there were errors made on the files and I wanted more variation, so I made these. What we have here is a set of 8 walls, in large and medium sized panels, found in panelling at a cost of $5 per wall. Each wall has 2 recolourable channels. The exact walls in the set are:
  • Vertical Large
  • Vertical Medium
  • Horizontal Large Left
  • Horizontal Large Centre
  • Horizontal Large Right
  • Horizontal Medium Left
  • Horizontal Medium Centre
  • Horizontal Medium Right

The walls are described as:

"Not all panelling is meant to be seen in grand mansions. Rediscover a new, simple panelling with a contemporary feel. Try it out inside, outside, wherever you like. Re-imagined and brought into the present. Try it out for yourself"

The archive contains the preview pictures and both the sim3pack and package files. So choose your preferred method of installation and delete the rest. I hope you enjoy :)

Edit: fixed the package files so the size is more in line with sim3packs. Apparently packages exported from TSRW are larger then sim3packs. Please re-download

Henley Shirt - Style 2

Hey everyone! Well I know I have 3 versions of Henley tops, but I love them so much I decided to make another slight variation. This time it is an unfolded collar. Yeah, yeah, I know its not a big difference but I still wanted it in my game. If you are not fond of the other versions this one may be just up your alley. There are 3 recolourable channels; the shirt, collar and buttons. I have included 3 pre-set styles with custom thumbnails and it is found in everyday, athletic and sleepwear. The archive contains the package file, sims3pack and preview picture. This also marks 1100 followers, so thank you all so much for following me and enjoying my content. I hope you enjoy the shirt as much as I do :)

Valentines Pattern Pack

With February the 14th only a few days away, I thought I would mark the occasion by making and sharing a themed pattern pack for you all. Some are made by me, others inspired by source material, but all are in some way both pretty and in the spirit of the occasion. These are for those lovers where your paths crossed and your life changed  forever, those caught up in the waves of romance, maybe you need a fan to keep you from fainting around your crush, or perhaps it was flowers that got you noticed, there are many patterns here for you (and polka dots, you just need polka dots). There are 14 patterns in the set, all found in the geometric category with 2 recolourable channels. The archive contains both the package and sim3pack files, so choose which method of installation you prefer to use and delete the rest. I have also included the preview pictures so you pick and choose which patterns you want by matching up the names. I hope you all have a wonderful Valentines Day and I hope you enjoy the patterns.

(UPDATED) PC Weatherboard Siding

(updated 11/02/2014): OK, so I figured out the blurry wall issue. I feel like a total newb with this mistake. The DDS images were all in a 3:1 ratio. DDS images need to be in either 1:1 or a 2:1 ration for them to render properly. So I just forgot to scale them down after working in a 3:1 ratio to get the scale right (which is the size they look in-game). So if you have these walls in-game, please re-download.

Well, I finally got these up (was supposed to be yesterday but I was distracted), so here they are, a new weatherboard siding for your homes. It also happens to mark 600 followers on tumblr so lots of squishy hugs for you all! As you can see, this is not a pattern, this is a wall to apply patterns so the customisation is limitless! Can you tell I love really customisable stuff? Anyway, there are 8 wall variations, all found in the sidings category of build mode with between 1 and 4 recolourable channels depending on the style. The archive contains both the sim3pack and package files so choose which method you would like to use to install. The names are self-explanatory, but if you don't like one set, you can delete them using the names in the pictures below as the correspond to the walls.

Note: if they appear blurry when you first install, its advisable you delete you cache files, as well as the object cache file for the world you are using (found in the worldcache folder). That should solve the blurriness. I have no idea why this happens and I thought it was and issue with my walls, but it was the game.
