Hanging Out Layered T-Shirt

Well it is another week, so that means another new creation. This week I bring you a new top inspired by one of my favourite store jackets (found here). I always loved the Henley top under the deep v-neck, but I did want a version without the jacket. So I made one for myself and now I am sharing it with all of you :)

This top:
  • is base-game compatible
  • has 3 recolourable channels (the v-neck, the v-neck collar, and the Henley undershirt)
  • is found in everyday, formalwear, sleepwear and athletic clothing categories
  • 3 presets with custom thumbnails
There is one thing I do need to mention. Like all tucked in tops, these are designed to be paired with the normal waist height pants, not low-rise pants. If you do want to pair this with low rise jeans for example, consider using an accessory undershirt to cover the part of the belly that would be showing. I would have considered making a version to both, but blame the UV map size for that, which ruled out that possibility.
As usual, the archive contains the preset preview picture along with the sim3pack and package files. Choose one file type and you can delete the rest. I hope you enjoy :)

For the Union: Regular Fit Jeans

New stuff! It is time for new stuff! This week I bring you another set of pants. I really do love these, especially the buckle. They are a set of regular-fit jeans made from a UL and Diesel mesh. The UL calculating pants really bugged me when they didn't fit properly over shoes, so this project was done to rectify that issue. Once I found the buckle, it took on a life of their own. Now they are a set of my go-to jeans in-game.
These pants:

  • are base-game compatible
  • have 2 recolourable channels (pants and belt)
  • have 3 preset styles with custom thumbnails
  • are found in everyday, formal, athletic and outerwear categories of CAS

There is a slight seam issue just above the buckle, a really small gap. This is present on the EA mesh too, and after trying numerous methods to close it, it is still there. It is not that noticeable, and i really only noticed it this week after a few weeks being in-game, and I actually had to look at the UL jeans and they have it too. Perception check fail. Anyway, it really only noticable with a nude top, so that's probably not gonna happen too often. I just like to inform all of you of these issues just so you all know.

The archive contains the sim3pack and package files along with the preset preview image. Choose which file type you prefer and delete the rest. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do :)

Stripe Pattern Set

Here is my latest pattern set. As you can tell, I chose stripes. Lots and lots of stripes. It is 24 patterns in total, so make sure you are ready for that many lines in one picture. I love stripes, especially on clothing, but I get bored with EA's so I made my own. This is the end result. I did get a little carried away, but I love them nonetheless and I hope you all do too. There is a vertical and horizontal versions for almost every style (apart from 2), with recolourable channels varying from 2 to 4. Do be aware, some of the horizontal styles due to the thinness may look odd on certain items depending on the stretch of the UV map and tiling. There is nothing that can be done about that, its how the cc is created, not the pattern. You can see that in the preview shots with the walls which distort thin lines.
Anyway, the archive contains both the sim3pack and package files along with the preview images. So any stripes you don't want, just match up the names and delete them. I hope you enjoy this massive pattern pack and its stripey awesomeness.

Flipped Collar Shirt and Jacket

This week I have another top for your male sims. What we have here is a magician outfit from Showtime tweaked to be a top only, long sleeves and no girdle thing. This makes it so much more usable. I loved the outfit (which was only available with the unlockoutfits cheat active) but the design made the use of this outfit limited. I think I have made the top much more diverse.
The top features:

  • Basegame compatible
  • 4 recolourable channels (jacket, jacket lapel, shirt, and buttons)
  • Found in everyday, formal and outerwear categories
  • 1 preset and custom thumbnail
There is one issue I need to state about this top. Like the mesh it is based on, the thin flipped collar bones are not perfect. they bend and move and don't always look right. I am not well versed in assigning bone assignments, and it is not something i want to mess with. So be aware the collar is not perfect, but my testers and people who has seen the WIP as it progressed have said its not a big problem. But I want you all the be aware of it.
So, as usual, the archive contains both the sim3pack, package file and preview images. Just extract file, choose your preferred file type and delete the rest. I hope you enjoy.

Ikat Pattern Set - Set of 16 fabric patterns

Well, I have another pattern set for you all. This one was born from 3 patterns that were supposed to be included with my random pattern set 03, but I spun them off into a complete set. I am really glad I saw the potential of those 3 patterns to make more. Though I have made more then my usual 12 patterns per set, it just means more patterns to play with ;)
So, there are 16 patterns in total, all found under the fabric category of CASt. All patterns have a textured design and 2 recolourable palettes. The archive contains both the sim3pack and package files, so choose which file type you prefer and delete the rest. I have also included the preview pictures, so if you don't like some of them, match up the names on the pictures to the files and delete them. I hope you enjoy

Like My Briefs? Low Rise Jeans

Today I have another set of pants for you. I liked the low rise jeans that we got from EA, however I hated the texture and I prefer bootleg cut. So what did I do? I changed the mesh at the bottom and tweaked the texture. Now this pair of jeans look awesome and I couldn't be happier. I got a little cheeky with the name too, but I think is suits the overhaul I have given to these pants.

These pants feature:
  • Basegame compatiblity
  • 3 recolourable channels (base colour, distressed areas, and briefs)
  • 3 presets with custom thumbnails
  • Found in everyday, formalwear and outerwear categories of CAS

The archive contains both the sim3pack and the package file along with the preview picture. Just select which method of installation you prefer and delete the rest.

Random Pattern Pack 03 - 1500 followers gift

Well, I don't have much to say in relation to this pattern pack, other then thank you to all those who follow me on tumblr! You are all awesome. Anyway, I wanted to make something completely new for my 1500 followers gift, and not just label a WIP creation as such. So here we have another random pattern pack! There are 12 recolourable geometric and abstract patterns with 2 palettes for each design. The archive contains the sim3pack and package files, so choose which method you prefer and delete the rest. Don't like some of the patterns? That is fine too! I have included the preview pictures, so match up the names and delete accordingly. I hope you all enjoy and stay tuned for a new upload next week :)

Slouchie Trackie Pants - sweatpants for your guys

Sim guys are in desperate need of more clothing. What that is really lacking for them though is bottoms. Pants, shorts and anything in-between, this is one of the neglected areas for men's clothing. I can say i am also one of those people. There is only so much a re-texture can do to make a mesh look different and unique. Now that I know how to frankenmesh, this give me the opportunity to create some unique designs that are desperately needed. The first on the list is some trackie pants (or sweatpants, what ever floats your boat). I meshed these together from 2 different pants to give you a baggy set of pants that I hope your guys will enjoy.

These Pants feature:
  • 3 recolourable channels (pants, waistband, and drawstrings)
  • basegame compatible
  • found in everyday, sleepwear, athletic and outerwear
  • 3 presets
  • custom thumbnails
The archive contains the preview picture also with the package and sim3pack files. Just extract, open the folder inside and choose which file type you want and delete the rest. I hope you enjoy and look out for more much-needed pants in the coming weeks.
