Something I have wanted to make since the original Bowed Living, was adapting the design to a bedroom set. It took a while to become inspired, but i really love the outcome. Hopefully you all enjoy the boho/island vibes as well.
What you need to know:
- Always wise to turn on 1/4 tile placement by pressing F5 or hold alt for free placement
- The paintings and plants size down really well
- the floor paintings work well on surfaces sized down once and using the 9/0 keys to move up when moveobjects cheat on
- the Vanity is basegame compatible if you have the most recent patch after Modern Luxe Kit was released

- basegame compatibility
- non-default
- 35 items with between 10-25 colour/style options
- colour filter compatible
- Find using the keyword "Bowed Bedroom" using my tutorial here
- custom thumbnails
- The polycount of each item falls within range of Maxis-created content
Download from either of the below links. To install, if an archive, extract using WINZip/WinRAR/7Zip for PC or Unarchiver for Mac, and place the folder or package files in your mods folder, then look for them in your game. If you are having issues check out my Installing Content help page.

ReplyDeleteThis specific mod has been freezing/crashing my SIMS 4 the past couple days. When I am playing, I get 20 seconds in and it won't let me click any SIM or give them any commands. I narrowed it down specifically to Bowed Bedroom by using the 50% method. I take it out of my Mods folder and SIMS 4 works smoothly again. I am assuming it is in need of an update. I am still new to SIMS so I am figuring out if there is a way I, myself, can fix this loved mod. I use it in every build!
ReplyDeleteThat is quite odd, I have not had any other reports of issues, and there would be with such a severe issue such as freezing/crashing. All the items are mimics of Maxis content so there really shouldn't be anything in it that should adversely affect a game like that. All I can suggest is redownload, and also check any mods that affect object tuning (things like WW, or MCC) as these can indirectly cause issues for items that would normally be fine. If you are still having issues, if you can narrow it down to what items within the set is causing it (most likely one of the larger items like the vanity or bedding) that would help me to see if I can replicate. It's a bit out of my hands if there is an issue that doesn't present itself in my game so I can't troubleshoot it

DeleteOkay, so I narrowed it down to the desk chair. I went one by one after got the initial cull through, when I take the desk chair out of the mod folder, works perfectly. When it's in the mods folder, it freezes and won't let me click on anything or any sim after 20-30 seconds of playing. Just wanted to give an update.

Doesn't look like I am able to replicate the issue. Been running fine in my game for a half hour or so. Either something about the file corrupted which you should try redownloading, a mod is conflicting with it, or some other unknown issue/conflict. Might also be worth running a repair incase it's an actual game file that is missing/corrupted. Other then that, there isn't much else I can suggest or do since it seems to be isolated to your game and mods folder
