Butterfly Ranch- A Mid-Century Home

This is one of the homes I used to showcase my Vaulted Ranch Build Set a few weeks ago. Tow of the four homes were just facades, but the other two, including this one, were a bit more advanced in design. So I finished these homes up and sharing them with all of you. Do note, these are unfurnished and I will not be doing furnished versions, so please do not ask.

The home features:
  • 4 bedrooms
  • 2 bathrooms
  • open plan dining/kitchen
  • price: $51,591
  • 40x30 lot size
  • Unfurnished

Rubicon Jute Rugs

I found these rugs on West Elm when looking for dining and bathroom inspiration. I really love jute rugs and I love colour, so these were right up my alley. There were only 14 initially, but i added a white and purple to round up the range of colours.

The Build/Buy items feature:
  • basegame compatibility
  • non-default
  • 16 style choices
  • Style tool compatible
  • custom thumbnails
  • Costs $160
  • Credit to West Elm where I found the rugs
The archive contains the  package file and style image. Extract the archive using WinZIP or winRAR and place the package file in your mods folder, then look for them in your game. I hope you enjoy.

Vaulted Ranch: An MCM-Inspired Build Set

My second build-mode set, I wanted something a bit more contemporary so i went for an MCM style set. I love the half-hipped roofing by always lamented the lack of low-pitch windows or them. You could guarantee angled windows for 45 degree angles, but anything lower then that were just out of the question. Not anymore though, I have solved that issue and I now have a great set for making modern homes with a MCM twist.

Due to the length of these posts and for ease of updating, you can find the download and info under the cut.
