Brindleton Bay Grassland Overhaul - Default Replacement Grass

I really liked the texture chosen for the grass in Brindleton Bay. There was one issue though; it was overscaled and the green tone looked horrible. I generally don't replace the grass textures in my game but I decided to make an exception here. I scaled the texture by half and brightened the green a bit to look a little more lush. The downside is the pattern repetition is a bit more obvious, but I am ok with that payoff. I was reminded I actually made this on tumblr, so i have double-checked everything is right and it is here for those that are interested.

Note: As of June 2018, this does not work with Seasons installed!

What you need to know:
  • You can only have one default replacement for the world textures in Brindleton Bay, so if you already have one, you can't have this and the existing package at the same time
  • I think it goes without saying, you need Cats and Dogs for this to work
Updates:

The Build/Buy items feature:
  • REQUIRES CATS AND DOGS EP
  • Default replacement
  • Replaces all grass textures in Brindleton Bay
Now, there are 2 download links hosting the same file. Chose your preferred site to download the archive. To install, extract the archive using WINZip/WinRAR/7Zip/Unarchiver and place the folder or package files in your mods folder, then look for them in your game. 1. The other day my grassy Brindleton Bay lots suddenly had solid black terrain textures after a few weeks of using this without issue. I have redownloaded it and replaced the files and hope that fixes it.

    1. As the post says, if you have Seasons installed, it not longer works. At the moment I just don't have the time to track down all the textures needed (no easy way to separate them out from all the others) in order to update.

    2. It works fine for the first few launches of the game after I extract it to my mods folder, then suddenly quits.

    3. Yeah, it has to do with Seasons. No clue what they changed but with the multitude of new textures and possibly tuning? It is hard to say what is wrong with it.
