UPDATED: Mid Century Eclectic Object Set

Update 17/07/2016: I have updated this set to work with the latest July patch where changes were made to the lighting tuning. You can find the new downloads below, as well as a link to the individual items.

I know it may seem that I hold back these sets as followers gifts, but it seems to take me that long to finish one of these projects. This set is a bit different from my previous ones. It was designed to take a bit of the tedium out of creating "object sets" with multiple matching items and designed to go together. This set is something that can be mixed and matched with other sets, hence the name "eclectic". The randomness of the items, but how they all come together is what I aimed for, and I think I succeeded. It is also a smaller size (both file and item count) which was nice after completing Atwood living. That set was HUGE! I have also included some retro inspired wallpapers to accompany this set. We really do need more wallpapers, so go fourth and decorate with these new pretties.

The Build/Buy items feature:
  • basegame compatibility
  • non-default
  • 20 meshes in total with between 16 and 28 colour/style options:
    - Bucket Chair (28 fabrics)
    - Marshmellow Pouf (28 fabrics)
    - Retro Chic Pillows (28 patterned fabrics)
    - Lowboy (20 colours, 16 wood tones)
    - Small, Medium, and Large Risom End Tables (white top with 16 wood tones)
    - Tall, Medium, and Short Margarita Pendant Lamps (16 wood tones)
    - Genie Table Lamp (24 colours)
    - Danish Bedside Light (24 fabrics)
    - Moth Orchid (24 pot colours)
    - Leafy Love (24 pot colours)
    - Mother in-law's Gift (24 pot colours)
    - Starburst Mirror (16 wood tones)
    - Baxtor Glass Vase 01, 02 and 03 (24 gradient colours)
    - Blast From the Past Retro Prints (20 prints found from society6)
  • find items easily using phrase "Mid Century Eclectic" in search bar

  • custom thumbnails

  • 28 style variations
  • Custom thumbnails
  • Walls found in Wallpaper category of Build Mode
  • costs $4
  • All wall heights available
*Note: Some of these items can be considered "High Poly." So if your computer can't handle high poly items, install at your own risk. Curves are notorious for needing extra polys to look smooth, so it is the trade-off when creating.

Now, there are 3 download links. One for a combined package with all 20 items merged, and another with all packages separated, then separate download for the wallpapers. The archives contains the package files and style images inside a folder. Extract the archive using winRAR or WinZip, place the package file(s) in your mods folder, then look for them in your game. I hope you enjoy.

I have also uploaded the files individually for those with the separated packages to download the items separately. There will be no alternate download for these individual files.

  6. love your stuff, all of it. I quarantine all the items I download for the Sims so they're easier to find if something doesn't look or work right in game but with your creations I know they'll look great so I don't even bother quarantining them. so for your impeccable work, I thank you.
